A forum to revitalization of rural communities and regions in Japan

Based on a theme of “changing Japan from the countryside”, this forum invites leaders who have been successful in revitalizing their rural communities throughout Japan using unique approaches to pass on their secrets of success and to work with participants to further invigorate rural development throughout Japan.
With special cooperation from Akie Abe, wife of the Prime Minister, new collaborative projects for rural community development are being created through cooperation between the heads of local governments and community producers, financial institutions and IT ventures.
