TOMODACHI Toshiba Science & Technology Leadership Academy

A leadership program through STEM education between high school students from US and Japan.

This is a week long exchange and leadership program for Japanese and American high school students that focuses on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) held in Tokyo each August.
The program was begun in 2014 through support from the TOMODACHI Initiative, which formed as part of recovery support for Japan after the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the Toshiba Corporation.
In addition to aiming for exchange between youths of the next generation through STEM education, the program also aims to improve educational capabilities through the exchange of teachers and knowledge between Japan and America. BeGood Cafe provides management support for the program in the English language.
